An actual update...
So, the semester is nearing its end, and I still have a shit ton of work to do. I'm not even really concerned with finals. I just need to motivate myself to get these last two big assignments done. God damn it.
The weather is cold...brrrr.
So, I've decided to throw a party on the 15th in honor of the semester being over. For those of you not on Facebook (or at least not friended) this is an open invitation to you. Get back to me if you so desire.
I've been having crazy urges to play WoW again. My better judgement says I shouldn't, but the temptation is getting to be far too great. Damnation.
I've recently started talking to an old friend again. I wasn't aware of how much I enjoyed conversation with this person. The happiness factor in my life has gone up a great deal.
I realized yesterday/today that I just might have an overly pessimistic view on all life and the greater conciousness which ties all life on this planet together. In brief, there is no true altruism, only a greater, collective egoism. Despite what we tell ourselves, any and everything we do is done, first and foremost, to further our own goals and self-rightousness. I'll be happy to argue this point, as (I think)I've thought through most cases which could be believed to debunk this philosophy. I might enjoy being proved wrong though.
In other news, Jordan tried to kill me last night. Don't take any food he offers you. Asshole.
