So I checked out the University of Nurtigen and it looks like I will have to pass some competency tests for math, econ, business management and, of course, german. This shouldn't be so bad except for the business management thing. Hopefully it is intuitive and not retarded, oh well.
My mom is renting out the master bed room of our house to a lady that she and I work with and her family. This is pretty awesome because they are incredible chefs. They cooked carne asada the other night and I only wish that I had more. Mexican food is the best. My inability to obtain Mexican food in Germany will be one of my greatest hardships, but hopefully the Germans will be able of mollify me with their excellent dishes. I probably should have eaten something before I posted, oh well.
I'm getting some ideas down for a book or a movie or something. It would just be a story until it reached any substantial size. I hope that it will turn into something and not be left by the wayside like too many other of my hobbies. I figure at least that it would be good for role playing and create a solid world with interesting things happening.
I'm actually working everyday, which is nice from the money inflow point of view, though it is only two and a half to four hours a day. Better than nothing.
I watched Dennis Miller last night and it got me thinking about the election and who I will vote for for president. I find it crappy that I can only ever half agree with Republicans or Democrats. Democrats want to keep individuals freedoms at the cost of tying businesses down and spending a lot of money. Republicans seem to want to cut taxes and make the government smaller(a bit), but reduce the freedoms of individuals by making them conform to Christian values.
When people talk about Bush it seems like they are talking about two very different people whether they are arguing for or against him. Kerry doesn't seem to do much of anything. Should I vote for Bush and hope that he isn't able to change individual freedoms too much or vote for Kerry and hope that nothing will change. I fear that if I vote for Kerry he will do something stupid like remove troops from Iraq, which I don't think that a worse mistake could be made at this point, unless the Iraqi government makes some substantial gains, but I figure that it will take, at least a few years, say 6, to make sure that they are stable. Maybe all of you could clarify the disparity of the opinions towards Bush and/or argue why Kerry as an individual should be president.
