I was researching psychology and came up this website where they have done an experiment with volunteers to simulate prison life and understand it's psychological effects. As I read through it, I have to admit a lot of the things they did remind me of kolob. Dressing us up before seeing family members, dressing us up in the same uniforms, stripping us when we were admitted, taking our rights and privaleges and supplying punishments..just the general power struggles and manipulations that go on in places like that.
It's actually really fucked up cause everyone involved in the experiment really gets into thier role, they almost seem to forget who they really are, other the prisoners and gaurds.
Well anyway, hopefully David and I are going to get a car today. A 98 Dodge Neon that sounds like it's in pretty good condition but we'll see.
