When I was sad,
And needed a kind word,
You were always there,
To crack a joke,
And make me smile.
When I couldn't be strong,
And needed someone to lean  on,
You were always there
To be my support,
And hold me together.
When I wanted to give up, 
And needed some encouragement,
You were always there
To encourage me,
And keep me on the right track.
But now you're gone, 
No one to laugh with,
No one to lean on,
No one to look to.
But when I need you, 
I look to my heart, 
And there you are,
Encouraging and supporting me,
Forever in my memories.
