Ni~ya needed it, needed to know he was wanted before he could go back to his lover. He needed to know he was still desirable before he went to please his lover. Before he went to make love to the only one that mattered.
The bassist knew it was wrong. The way he went to the clubs with the others only to let everyone who felt like it take him to the bathroom for a quick fuck. He didn't even care if he got fucked or fucked them.
And all the time he didn't feel anything. He didn't care about the man or woman with him. He never saw their faces. They were only the means to and end, the means to teach his body it was desirable, teach it to react again. Even while his cock was hard and ready he never felt aroused.

But Yomi just smiled softly, because unlike his band mates he saw. He saw the affectionate shimmering in Ni~ya's eyes that would only appear when he looked at him. Or his lover's pleading eyes when he went away again, the need shown there. The need not for the physical contact but the need for Yomi to understand.
And the little blond did understand. He saw the way Ni~ya reappeared so much calmer, noticed the other's guiltily expression.
But as long as he returned to him Yomi merely smiled, opening his arms for his lover to snuggle against him, with his head buried in his shirt as he inhaled the other's scent.
A long long time ago, at the beginning of their relationship, when Yomi hadn't understood, he had tried to entice his lover to make love to him without that kind of foreplay.
But it had been a disaster, ending with Yomi shouting because he felt betrayed, felt like Ni~ya didn't love him enough.
But then he'd seen the other's tears, had heard his pleads. He had listened to the bassist then, sitting down with the trembling form in his arms. He had almost been shocked by the other's thoughts. He couldn't believe Ni~ya thought he was worthless, that he shouldn't touch Yomi, that he wasn't desirable enough to be with the beautiful singer.
And then Yomi had understood, stroked the bassist's back and told him that everything was okay.
He had sat there all night to reassure the tall blond that he wouldn't push him away.
That as long as Ni~ya returned to him and loved him Yomi would be there, his arms wide open for the one that he loved most.
And they lived happily ever after...
