They're laughing in the snow. People climbing up the walls. Breaking all of my wretched dolls.

Good evening,
I haven't posted in quite a while. I've been rather under the weather and thus haven't felt like writing. I do hope I haven't missed anything important.

The Christmas season is upon us as is evident from the blaring music coming through shop speakers. Since I've been ill, I've gotten behind on my Christmas shopping and thus must ( Read more... )

You honestly should not listen to her exaggerations. There's only one Christmas song I can handle-- and even still, that's after many, many beers.

So I'm awful and forgetful and just all around scatter brained and never messaged you. How does tomorrow night work for you re movie night? X

So I'll just look forward to your Christmas cookies. ;)

That would be lovely. Shall I bring something?

No movie suitable snack foods?

It's awful lucky you have a sweet tooth-- that's for sure!

Erm... no I think we have enough here to fill our own store. But thank you for the offer all the same. Any ideas for which films we should watch? I think it'll be surprisingly easy for us to find common ground for all three of us. X

I do quite like baked goods.

I've enjoyed your choices in film. Surprise me.

Well... I have at least one in mind. You may be familiar with it. I think you might be. But, even if you're not, I'm fairly certain you'll like it. At least, I hope you will. I think you will. Yes. X

You seem nervous about this choice. Why is that, Pixie?

...Because I get nervous about every and any decision I have to make on my own?

No-- I'm just a big fan of the film, and one moment I'm sure you'll love it then the next I think no, no, he'll surely hate it... Do you see where my brain is going with this? X

It's a vicious circle. Why don't you just tell me what it is to cease your worry.

Because you said surprise me-- so I didn't want to tell you after you clearly told me not to.

But I may as well. It's Repo! The Genetic Opera. X

I haven't seen it. Many people have told me I remind them of Graverobber. I'm intrigued to see what this film is about.

Well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed (literally) that you don't hate it. That would just be horrible and embarrassing for me. Yes I can see how people would see the similarity between you and Graverobber. Definitely. X

Should I be jealous that this Graverobber will catch your eye or steal your heart?

Um... (right about now, would be when I blush and stutter because I don't what to say. Bless the safety of this laptop screen.) No, you shouldn't be. He is a fictional character, Richmond. He can hardly steal this heart of mine now, can he?

As for catching my eye... that one is a little harder to promise. But if it makes you feel any better, I'm attracted to roughly 75.237% of the characters in this film. X

Alright, Pixie.

Well, if I remind others of him I shouldn't be jealous. Flattered maybe?
