(no subject)
Okay, so the first day back wasn't too horrific.
Didn't want to get up but then Cheryl Cole started playing on the radio and just to get away from that racket I got up and went downstairs. Ended up not being too late.
Had English Lit first. Was worried about the essay, but apparently it's not due til Friday *phew* Finished reading The Importance of Being Earnest and we got given our next essay title. We're supposed to explore the characters' hypocrisy in both 'Earnest' and 'Jekyll and Hyde' and compare and contrast, etc.
Went to library to get out the next in the Odin's series and spent fifteen minutes talking to Ms. Walker, then headed down to the common room to talk with Ashley and the guys. Mostly about games that we're playing or are coming out soon.
Went to see Hanna at break but she wasn't in, Hannah and Louise said they didn't know where she was so I kept shtum about the fact that she's planning to drop out and thus her absence possibly means she's taking the 'stop going til they kick me out' approach rather than facing Miss Wilson.
Went to Tesco with Ashley. Talked about Christmas and how I spent a lot of it reading Star Trek slash, which led to discussion of fic and the series in general. I try not to babble out fic too much in front of my friends because I get the feeling they really don't care, but it's a very important - and large - part of my life so it keeps coming up anyway :(
Had Biology fourth and despite Beth's efforts to drag me there I stayed stubbornly in the common room, not quite ready to face Dr Bonsi's lessons again quite yet.
Signed out after registration and went home.
Played Blue Dragon some more. I'm doing pretty good now.
Played Dragon Age some more. Still stuck in The Fade, I want my party members back :(
Put my new posters up. One's a hot female rogue with a bow, casting a blue fireball. She looks a little like Rikku, only dark-haired. The other is the face of a white tiger. Both are presents from Hanna, I was running out of space on the walls by my bed so they're over my computer instead.
Also got a Witch Voodoo Doll keyring from Hanna, have put it on my keyring and named it Elphaba. I plan to paint/felt-tip her skin green asap.
Gonna avoid games tomorrow and try to write. The Sight is first priority, but if my muse fails me on that I have McCoy/Chekov I can be writing too.
Dad promised to get me a Paid account. I'll have to remind him about that since I need the extra 15 icons damnit!
It's snowing. Weather forecast is predicting a lingering and deep fall, so school's out for tomorrow most likely if not the rest of the week.
So y'know, I think maybe someone up there's smiling on me for once. Good to know ^^
