(no subject)
Hanna didn't go to the party which was understandable and I wish I'd bailed on it too. It wasn't bad exactly, I just feel I'd have had more fun and spent the time better if I hadn't gone.
Anyway. Met Yasmin at about 2:15-ish because my afternoon Psych lesson was cancelled. We went to Tesco then headed back to mine. Nicked a bunch of pics she had on her laptop so I might post those and explain where they're all from.
Went to meet Ashley at Tesco. Bought snacks and stuff then his mum drove us to his house; her driving's really improved :)
Set up the 360 and laptop. Ashley stuck Dragon Age on and played a bit of his elf mage character, then switched to human rogue and then to his dwarf character before getting bored. It's not really a fun game to watch someone else play so Yasmin and I were both a bit bored, listening to music on Yas's iPod and doing our own thing.
Ashley then started playing a game with annoyingly loud crashes every few seconds which effectively killed my chances of being able to concentrate on my writing and so I didn't get chapter 5 written like I wanted to. Pissed!!!!
Watched Nostalgia Critic and Nostalgia Chick clips til Yasmin's dad arrived to pick her up, then Ashley and I migrated upstairs. Watched more clips plus some stuff on youtube then went to sleep.
Woke up about 12 and spent some time just talking to Ashley's mum before heading downstairs to play the 360 again. Ashley played Prey, a game he described as 'Like Portal with enemies'. I get what he meant, but one of the things I like about Portal is it's clean presentation and Prey looked overly complex especially with all the gravity flipping mechanics. So I surfed the net while Ashley played for an hour or so then he offered to let me carry on my game on Blue Dragon. Did that til 4-ish, then walked Sparky and then went home.
X Factor later but I'm gonna get Chapter 5 done today because I'm annoyed at myself. Then I'll try to get two chapters written tomorrow to get back on track.
