I sorta copped out on giving you guys a thorough run-down of my week in my post earlier so I'm making it up to ya'll by telling you what happened today.
Basically I went to see Hanna. I dropped off season 1 of Buffy because I finished it and watched her play DOA for a while, she kept getting beaten by one guy in particular so I button-bashed my way to victory for her. Alex came in and we passed the controller around as we went through story mode trying to unlock kinky outfits for all the girls. While we were doing so we discussed Buffy and much more importantly Spike/Xander and Giles/Xander. It's odd that Alex is completely straight and yet can handle a conversation with me about slash because I get real in-depth and defensive and it scares most non-slashers away.
After we got bored of DOA we played Flatout for a while. You get to name your character so Hanna was 'fuck face' I chose the title 'taco bell' and Alex was labelled 'WTF'. Alex won, then me and Hanna played on our own. Due to the letter limit on the names we ended up as 'Xena Warrior P' and 'buffy the vamp' which was quite funny, we made a number of pea related jokes and Hanna managed to score 0 a whole lot. We figured it's because Buffy's useless without the Scooby's to back her up.
Later we watched the first ep of Buffy season 2 (Mocking thoroughly as we went) and it became a sort of running joke to point out all the Giles/Xander subtext, some of it got kinda obscure. At one point though the following awful conversation occured:
Buffy: You woke me from a good dream.
Me: She was dreaming of the Master raping her disguised as Giles. How is that a good dream?
Hanna: Clearly she's in love with the Master and Giles.
Alex: Spitroast.
All: *about a minute of laughing*
Me: ...That's wrong.
We also ate Chinese take away.
That's about it really.
