Fanboy be thy name
Is it bad that I just spent $100 on board games? I'd like to think it was money well invested in future evenings of struggle over a cardboard battlefield.
On to my true fanboyism though... I always thought the Terminator series was a cool SciFi glimpse of the possible future. Psycho robot apocalypse, general paranoia/thriller type stuff. Plus, the second movie was a kick ass action flick. So, they just premiered the first episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles yesterday and damn, I'm hooked all over again. Let alone the fact that Summer Glau is in the series (HAWT!), the premise isn't terrible either. They've already setup the series for some long spanning plots, not only are they trying to not get killed by Skynet, but avoiding all the people who they happen across and learn just enough to be dangerous. I've only seen the pilot so far, I just hope Fox allows this show to unfold instead of killing it early like some other shows Summer has been in...
Also, to finish with my music fanboyism, when did DragonForce make hair metal fucking METAL again?! I've never even played Guitar Hero III, but thank you for bringing to light this band in the US.
