Random encounters
This week has been mildly surreal. We had our regular Cooking Army on Wednesday with an aggressive Mexican menu. Four different courses along with homemade tortillas. Anyway, Jenny (Jason's wife) invited one of her good friends and her new husband this week. None other than Marc, my business manager at the office, turns out to be the new husband.
Small world.
On Friday, I went out to dinner with Jin Sheen to celebrate her birthday this past week. One of her best friends, Jen, was going to meet up with us and bring her weird and quirky boyfriend. The boyfriend turned out to be a friend from UIC I'd hang out with periodically because he took architecture classes with Dan.
Very small world.
I'm fully expecting to meet my elementary school friend, Lowell, at the going away party for my friends the Felske's today (they're moving away to California). It's like it's the week to meet people I know completely indirectly.
