Things could be better...
I need to research more physics and review my electrical engineering, cuz this shit be wack, yo'! So, I'm kinda sick this morning. I decide not to call in and muscle through the day and I'll be ok. Lee convinces me to go out and play soccer tonight, it's beautiful out for it, and I go. I realize that was a really bad idea being all phlegmy and while playing, my liver decides it wants to explode. What the heck is that? I mean, fine, I've got a cold, I'm stupid for running around playing soccer and can barely breathe because my lungs are full of goo, but my liver having stinging pain?! I don't understand that at all... then again, I'm not medically trained either.
Anyways, I'm exhausted, sick, and sore, so I come home and just about get ready to fall into the shower when HALF my power goes out. Not all my electricity mind you, my living room lights, sockets, computer, refrigerator, and wall sockets in my bedroom still work (so at least my alarm clock still works!), but everything else? It be dead. No power at all in the bathroom, no ceiling lights in the bedroom, no air conditioning, washer or dryer, stove or microwave. All the rest of the units in the building have the same problem, so it's gotta be a ComEd issue, hopefully they'll have a guy come check it in the morning.
And now apparently, my computer has "lost" the soundcard driver, so I have no audio on my desktop computer... this just isn't my day.
