Investigation [Open, Multiple Threads welcome]
Peter had discovered, if you looked around long enough, that you could usually find anything you needed in the hotel. He didn't know so much about needs, but he found paper and pen and carted it down to the lobby. He stocked up on snacks and Cokes from the bar, and sat down to work. He'd noticed, since he'd arrived, that none of his spider powers worked and his vision had gone bad. His vision had gone bad only once before--when his powers didn't work.
Before, when his powers quit, it had been a mental block. But now, it seemed kinda different. Seemed like it was this place, whatever it was. Peter had a healthy background in physics, so he had a couple theories about the place. His most likely one had to do with a rip in the space-time continuum, but he didn't expect anyone to buy that. Hell, he didn't buy it, after all.
Still, it was valid, and he wrote it down on his paper underneath the underlined header of "Theories about the Hotel--science and mystical."
