Roger couldn't get enough of the free wet bar downstairs. He'd spent two or three... or was it four? nights there, drinking fine warm Guinness, then Scotch, then ice cold absinthe. He was careful to drink lots of water and to nibble at the snacks and eat a meal now and then.
On the way up to his room to crash, a sudden idea occurred to him. It was a very good idea. So good in fact that Roger acted on it immediately.
He banged relentlessly on Pucey's door. "Pucey! Wake up! What the bloody hell's going on?"
