003 - hold on hope
Just got off Skype with Darius. They don't have school tomorrow, since Wisconsin's getting slammed with snow, so Mom let him stay up late. We're still working on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Darry said he was going to read ahead, but I think I convinced him to wait until we Skype again.
Mom and Dad and Aunt Cris popped their heads in to say hello, which annoyed Darry and made me laugh. Mom said Wendie was upstairs with one of the interns, but that she was in a pretty good mood.
My new employer, Dr. Aronofsky, is an interesting fellow. He's very abrupt and temperamental, but I can't deny that he knows his stuff. We're working on a collection of documents some lady dropped off at the museum... all from the 1800's, all really improperly preserved. Dr. Aronofsky says we'll be done by the end of next week, but to me it seems like there's enough material to keep me busy for months.
I've got everything unpacked and I've set up all the drawings and paintings I was working on before I left. None of them are close to being done, or anywhere near where I'd like them to be, but I've got lots of time now.
