Today was the best I day I can remember. Started off, a trip to the mall with Soyoung. Just spending time with her is awesome, but time spent with her and DDR is even better. For about 2 hours we bummed around, ate, and pretty much made merry. The only complaint I have was that we had so little time together but, I still loved it. At 4:00 my Dad and I roll in my drive-way. Nothing else planned for the day, I stumble upstairs and prepare for a well deserved nap. Soon after laying to rest, I remembered the poker planned for the night. Quickly I hobble down the street and join my Dad and his couple of friends, just starting the first hand. Claiming four dollars worth of chips, I did not think I would be there long enough to have a good time. Good hand after good hand rolled my way, and I soon nearly tripled my money. After about three hours, I find myself with $1.25. It was a hand of 5 Card Draw. For those of you who suck, 5 Card Draw goes something like this: I am dealt 5 cards, I choose X to throw away, and get X new cards. After much betting and folding, the winner is proclaimed. Starting off, I was dealt two 9's and three other crap cards. Chucking the three, I get in return three Ace's! Just like that, a full house! Needless to say, I bet my 1.25 and get three dollars back. As a whole, I paid one dollar for a night of fun, a worthy trade in my mind. So now I am officially addicted to poker, who knows what will become of me now that I have gone down this horrid path to poverty.
