Moving on?

Because all signs point to yes with Brian, I have deemed dating no longer a worthy blog topic. The question of the year is whether other things in my life are interesting enough to sustain an audience.

Things:
James Earl Jones was in my office building. I rode the elevator with him. I heard a company there does voice-overs, and he had Cat on a Hot Tin Roof in his pocket.

I saw Sanjay from Weeds (he's also in 30 Rock, I hear) in a gay bar. Brian, who has seen Mary Louise Parker 3 times in the East Village, noticed him first. P.S. Brian hung out with me, my roommate, and her friends in a gay bar. Bonus points!

Via a friend of a friend I met 5 or 6 charming twentysomething Frenchmen that live in my neighborhood. One of them cooked dinner for me and a few other people on Friday. Yes, there was cheese and crepes. He also sent a hysterical text message to all of us in the planning stage:
"Hey my hipsters I have a very bad news I cannot invite you this weekend cause there are the parents of my roommate and they sleep at 10pm, so why not next friday? I know that it's gonna be Halloween during the weekend so let me know if you're free Kramer"

I got woken up by this message at 1 am on a weeknight, and I didn't have his phone number saved, so I was entirely confused about who the hell was texting me until I woke up enough to remember the drunken invitation to dinner from a week ago.

The Frenchies are into the idea of hipsters, it being very American and them living in Williamsburg and Greenpoint and all. So everyone has a hipster name (mine is Lola). Also, we decided this guy was Kramer because he stole a biscuit set aside for a different friend. Trying to explain Seinfeld was difficult. And he still thinks Kramer "gets the ladies," (although we were honest about him not being hot).
