playing catch-up with life
hot pot was fun times =) always fun hanging out with Y and J, and met B and S today too. the ranting and general gossiping was good for my system, lol. we've gotta do it again! and watch more maria-sama.
holy honey bunches of oats, life is moving at a lightning pace right now (yay, tampa bay! lecavalier > crosby). changed my flight from dec. 7th to nov. 29, and that day is quickly approaching - only 11 days left! i barely have enough time to finish my project, my scarf, and take care of loose ends at work. bleh. don't think i'll make it in tomorrow morning to work on my project, but i'll definately jot down ideas on how i want my report to go like, since most of the experiment (but not the data) is in my head.
i desperately need to go shopping. firstly, i need a warm winter jacket - there's this one from aritzia (*gasp* i know, i don't like shopping there, but sometimes it's the only place where i can find something specific!) that's long, pretty thick, and in a olive military style that i kind of like, though i may just end up getting a typical parka jacket with a fur-lined hood. second, i need another travel towel. most of the stuff i need to get now are toiletries, except for a pair of skinny pants (not necessarily jeans) so i can stuff them into my boots. also need monopoly. can't believe the flight date is coming up so soon! good thing metro's open til 9pm everyday (but i wish it was open at 10am tomorrow, not 11!)
C says the shopping in Vienna's pretty good, though, and i should be able to buy most of my stuff there, so i won't have to rush to buy everything if i don't see something that catches my eye. i miss her so much! i also wish D and i could do another monthlies before i left, but since there's less time that i thought there was til the flight...don't think that's gonna happen. the height monthlies will have to wait =(

things with F are...like they always are with F. off and on, i think we're friends, but i don't know if we're anything more than that. i kinda wish we were, but i'm also old enough to know that the chances of that happening are pretty slim, especially with him living out east, and me out west. not to mention the age thing XD besides, i don't think i'm good enough for him (in my current position) =) sorta wish he wasn't so proper and reserved in everything that he does, but i guess that's part of his charm (but it makes it really hard to get to know him! maybe he was a party animal back in the day).
also need to remember to pick up my eurail pass...
