*smiles* I hope I'll do well too. Thanx. I talk to my guidance councilor and she told me I didn't even need to take them because some colleges don't require SAT scores btu I just want to play it on the safe side since I have no idea what it will be like going to college in Chicago. Was the SATs you took difficult?
It was ok but I wish I had actually really prepared for it. I didn't really study anything and winged it. But getting ready for it probably does help you get a great score.
A lot of my friends said the same thing, so that is why I'm studying. I don't want to waste my money if I'm just going to do badly. Are you in college?
That is cool. I'm graduating this year and going to go to college in Chicago. I want to go to Vandercook College of Music. Music is my life! =) What is your major? Wondering do you have any advice for me that would help me about/through college? I know may seem lame to ask but just curious.
I'm currently a Goverment(Political Science) major. As for advice, there's a lot. Try not to put things off until that last minute. That works in high school and college. Time management is very important. Also, try to get involved in some type of group in college. I'm in the University Democrats because it interests me. Look for something that you like. Also, try to know other people. And also be willing to listen to opinion other than your own.
That is a good major. Yeah I know how that is. My parents tell me every year to start early, looking for colleges, finding financial aid, major, how many years do I want to go, etc.. You can get involved in a group in college if your not in college yet? I enjoy getting to know other people. I actually have friends in college and they are giving me advice as well. I don't have much help though since my Dad is out to sea so I have to do this on my own but i'll be fine. Thank you and I'll make sure I keep in mind what you told me. =)
I'm sure you'll do very well!
