I'll look through them and try to help. lol. I am not good at photography - I look at the subject, uniqueness of the print.. the angle.. etc. My husband who is a photographer would look at the technical part of it.. which he does with every picture he sees.. I can ask if he will look at them if you want? I don't know if he will or not.. but he loves photography // talking about it // looking about it.. etc
On to my fav pictures: [in the order I looked at them. lol - so not from least to fav or anything like that] 1. The Bennett School For Girls 17 : I love these type of photos... I love architecture and run-down type buildings. I like SOME of an actual building, but usually - I like specific areas that focus on a certain part. 2. Jar -o- buttons: I love some "in your face" photos. I'm very into macro photography and just when a photographer chooses what they want you to see. I like this because I'd love to get prints of stuff like this for my craft room.. plus the colors are amazing and would be great to decorate a room based

I hope you don't get angry with anything I said - and as I say again; most of it is just personal taste - while I try to think of what my husband would say or think, it's hard because I don't know the technical side of photography [but I am learning.. slowly.. lol] - I hope I helped and since I never comment because I'm crazy busy way too often and I love photography - I decided to make a comment on this because it is important. =o

Not angry at all! :) Actually I love that you were so thorough on your critique of everything. That's the sort of thing that helps me get better, knowing what works and what doesn't and figuring out what to try next. Also, info on licensing is always super helpful. I know a lot of them are grainy, I just threw them in there because I liked them. I may not print them for anyone but me, since I like the grain on some of them. ^_

Awesome, I'm always worried that even though someone asks for critique - they will get mad at me just being honest. Itry to do it as nicely as possible - you know? That way you can learn what works and what doesnt - as you said

Ones I think would work particularly well as prints, in no particular order; these are sharp photos, and, more important, the composition is good and would, I think, lend itself well to display:
Booze and Body Parts Swings Again Fire Ball The Bennett School for Girls 48 Ringmaster, Detail Venus Calling IMG_1836 (but only if you cropped it so it wasn't at a diagonal)
Doing this has made me realise that approximately 1000 of the photos on my photostream aren't named and so, when anyone says IMG_SOME# I have to run over and see which one that is.
Looking at this set was a real pleasure. Here are my favourites:
Bennett School for Girls 17 Jar & Butons Venus Calling (I'd love a print of this one!) Ringmaster, detail (ditto) International boiler works (186) Swings again (do you have a wider shot of this one?) Oasis Scrabble is what now? Lonely chair Abandoned Abbey 17 Fraidy Wench Villianous Curr Booze & Body Parts
As a general critique, there are MILLIONS AND SQUILLIONS of nature shots out there (as wonderful as they are, and even though they're the only thing I take pictures of nowadays). Your point-of-difference, so to speak, seems to be in embracing the quirky, the decaying, and the geeky. I say pimp this out to your full advantage! These are the shots I think are more full of colour, of contrast, and are 'rarer' in that they are found objects, while most of us can stumble out there and take a shot of a tree. Try also to narrow it down to your sharpest shots, as the grainer ones won't print as smoothly.
Funnily, I too was thinking of getting prints made yesterday.
Ok, I Am Not The "General Population" So My Choices Will Likely Not Reflect What Will Definitely Sell. For This I Appologize...
At Any Rate, Here Are My Choices.
The Bennett School For Girls 17
Abandoned Abbey (38)
International Boiler Works (186)
Oasis
Gorgon's Head
The Bennett School For Girls 82
Fern Forest
Why? Mostly Because I Would Find These Images Interesting On A Wall. I Feel With A Little Tweak In Saturation Or Contrast, These Would Be Your Best Works. But, I'm Drawn To Pictures Of Abandoned Junk, So What Is My Opinion Worth Anyways? :P

I should remedy that.

Overall I'm not too fond of the dawn/dark pictures, they look really grainy.

That's why the fair photos are grainy. ;) I think the grain adds rather than detracts, in my opinion anyway.
And, thank you. :)
