Now accepting suggestions for wedding music! Not the wedding march, or the first dance, or anything. We've got that covered. Mostly.
But for the reception. My ibook is doing the DJing duties, which makes us responsible for choosing the tunes we'll be listing to. So far my friends have been ridiculously unhelpful, so now I'm turning to all of you.
There aren't any real limitations. Nothing that will make old ladies pass out, stuff we can dance or at least jump around to. Stuff we can sing along to. You get the idea.
For examples of what we have on the list so far:
Flogging Molly: Whistles the Wind
Dropkick Murphys: Auld Triangle
The Beatles: With a Little Help From My Friends
Alanis Morrisette: Everything
Dexy's Midnight Runners: Come on Eilleen (which.. they played between bands last night, and people MOSHED to. So random. And made of WIN.)
Biz Marquee: Just a Friend
Bon Jovi: You Give Love a Bad Name (for pure karaokeness. It's semi traditional now.. my bad)
Mighty Mighty Bosstones|The Impression that I get
You kind of get the idea. We'll take anything from slow songs, to cheese, to hair metal, to classic rock, to punk, to Dragonforce. Which will be making an appearance. Just need to pick a song.
However, NO ELECTRIC SLIDE! Ew.
