Halloween is coming!
I know, I know, It's only mid August, but it will be here before I know it! Along with the wedding. But Halloween is clearly more important.
I've joined 2 Halloween swaps on Craftster. One is a Once you Pop Swap, where we fill a cleaned out and decorated Pringles can with Halloween themed goodies. The other is a Vintage themed Halloween swap where we make either one large or 2 medium items. I'm excited for both! If anymore Halloween swaps turn up, you bet your ass I'll be joining. I can't resist. It's sick, really.
Semi unrelated, I'm in the market for anything neat and made of paper for use in my journal and any other paper projects I may work on. So, if anyone has anything neat, vintage, foreign, halloweeny, etc they want to send me, let me know and I'll give you my address. Post cards would also be awesome.
Went to the Ren Faire this weekend, and Joe's Altair costume was a huge hit. He had quite a few people stop him to take photos, people tryed sneaking up behind him, and when we stopped by one of the buildings someone walked by and said 'No, you can't climb that." :D It made me happy because I made the cloth portion of the costume and it turned out great! He did all the leatherwork himself. I haven't uploaded photos yet, because we got home late Saturday and spent yesterday lounging in my brother's pool.
