The Doctor's Wife and RL stuff
I haven't done one of these in forever (darn work has sucked up my life...I'm really, really looking for the time when things calm down some more). So, first off, hi! I live!
Now onto last night's episode.
Quite simply, I loved it. My love for this show has sort of waned over the past few years to the point where I'm not as fannish about it as I used to be. I still love it, mind. But it's not like it was back in 2005. I'm not particularly fond of Eleven, though I can now (finally) see that he is the Doctor. But this episode brought back all the things that I adore about this show. The TARDIS being put into a human body for a bit and all her actions made me 'squee'. Because, really, at the end of the day this show is about a boy and his box, travelling through space and time.
I love the idea that the TARDIS thinks she stole the Doctor and how she always takes him where he needs to go. I love that bit a lot. All of the references to past episodes was wonderful and huzzah for the return of Nine and Ten's TARDIS! I thought that was all brilliant.

In the writing front, I've not been working on anything Doctor Who related - mostly I've been working on Sherlock fic. I've got 5 pages of a new story (which will be multi-chapter) and I just need to get back to that soon. I hope everyone's all right out there in LJ land.
