Interesting Discussion over at nnwest's LJ
The question is: oes Doctor Who have a fanfic story that could generally be considered the Doctor Who story? A story (or author) considered to be definitive for the fandom? Does Torchwood? Sarah Jane Adventures? Or do the spin-offs miss out on having such stories identified because of their association with the parent series?
It's an interesting discussion, mostly because I'm not so sure there is such a thing in Doctor Who fandom. So go over and join ;) Or say something here.
