Professional visit (For Tom)

Schreber does not get much sleep but he does get an office space reserved to talk with Tom. It's an office building not too far from the old one and a little busier. The place he has rented is furnished in an impersonal way but Schreber gets there early with a few books and papers and sits at the desk. He wishes there was a way to make tea here. It's not a nice week.
Schreber ends up just sitting with his forehead in his hands and staring at the desk until Tom comes for the appointment.
