After discussing it with Daniel, Sarah gave coordinates to the house's living room for Courtney to pass onto Thorn. She's done what she can to make the guest room (formerly Daniel's) comfortable: nice, soft sheets, fluffy pillows, all in calm, soothing colors

There was only one thing Schreber really needed to get out of the room, and the revolver is now in the metal lockbox, back at the lab. His clothes are easy to move, he does not have all that many and it seems silly to keep them there now that he and Sarah share a bedroom. He fidgets with Byte while they wait and wonders what this man is like. He has maybe only even seen the other Thorn from a distance at Courtney's parties.

Pop! Courtney PINpoints in with the older Thorn on her arm. She's carrying a pillowcase stuffed with clothes and toiletries for him, the best she could do on short notice, and is trying to look confident and comforting.

The thought that Thorn might have seen an alternate of Schreber, of course, hasn't even crossed her mind.

Thorn takes to pinpointing well, suffering none of the nausea or extreme disorientation Courtney might have worried about. He does cower slightly, taking in the new environment with worried eyes, but this is a fairly normal reaction on his part. His sharp grey-green gaze wanders the walls a moment, settles briefly on the ocean view out the window with an expression of surprise, then lands on the host and hostess. Upon seeing Dr. Schreber, he takes an abrupt step back and looks alarmed.

Sarah stands when Thorn and Courtney arrive, although her greeting falters when she see the look in the man's eyes. She expected him to be nervous, but what suddenly frightened him?

She follows his gaze to Daniel, then back to Thorn. Oh. She was on the receiving end of one of those looks once. Daniel probably has an alternate in Pennsylvania.

"Thorn, I'm glad you could make it. This is Daniel Schreber, my boyfriend." She approaches Courtney, offering to take the pillowcase off her hands. "Thank you so much, Courtney. Is there anything he still needs that you couldn't get?"
