Forture Tellers make a Killin' Nowadays, Me Oh My.

Ok, updating, yea I don’t do that anymore. I should, and every time I open livejournal I decide on doing just that. Then I end up getting distracted and nothing productive comes of it. I don’t know whats been going on over the last couple of months. Graduation, yea. I'm taking a video production class at the Art Institute of Boston currently, my last class is next Friday. Nothing has really come of it. We do pointless projects and only one of the people in our class is actually somewhat serious about doing video. There are only girls 15-18 in our class. One is from Chicago, one is from Florida, and one is from New Jersey. Its kinda lame. The projects mike and I do are cool though. We are working on this “Chair Wars” thing right now that will be funny and a music video for Silver Rocket by Sonic Youth. Its gonna be great.

I've been working a lot lately, usually 35+ hours a week. I work for my neighbor’s Stone Scaping company. Its really hard work, but it is worth it. I make about $11 an hour and its real rewarding seeing the finished product. We put in patios, retaining walls, and basically anything that has to do with stones or bricks. Ive got some before and after pictures of some of the jobs we’ve done and its really cool. I don’t have a whole heck of a lot to be proud of, but I feel good about myself after seeing a job done right.

I've gone to a bunch of shows lately. Mastodon on May 11th, Oasis on June 24th, Sounds of the Underground (Lamb of God, Unearth, GWAR, Clutch, Opeth, The Red Chord, Strapping Young Lad, etc) on June 25th, Bleeding Through on July 9th, and Ozzfest (Sabbath, Maiden, Mastodon, Arch Enemy, The Haunted, Killswitch, etc), on July 15th. All of them were pretty good, especially the Mastodon show on May 11th. It was probably the loudest concert ive ever been to and I was right up front with Mike and Jenks. Here is a picture from it I took to prove it:
I got to meet Oderus and Balsac from GWAR at the sounds of the underground tour. Jenks and I both got pictures with Oderus. Here is the picture:
Pelican is tomorrow night, The Number 12 looks like you is August 3rd, Gigantour (Megadeth, Dream Theater, etc) is August 20th in New Hampshire, and System of a Down/Mars Volta is August 27th in Worcester. Can’t wait for any of them.

I don’t really know what to update about, so much has happened from the last time I updated, and I don’t want to write a novel, because I fucking hate it when other people do. No one gives a shit about anything you have to say, seriously. I went to Maine/Canada with Tom, Jimmy and Brad 2 weeks ago. That was just an awesome time. The first night we were scared shitless by Tom’s uncle. Going into Canada was fun. We had to get out of the car, get inspected; searched, etc. going back in to the US was simple. They didn’t even have us get out of the car. That sure says something. I drank for the first time while I was up there. It’s not a favorable experience. I got to buy alcohol legally in Canada, so that was kind of cool. I smoked a cigar for the first time too, its not completely horrible, but I don’t see myself doing it again, at least anytime soon.

I bought an xbox last week, and I'm getting rid of it. I'm going to sell it to Dan. The only game I have/play is Halo 2, and I'm not very good at it. I would rather have my $200 than xbox anyway. I would have to buy a headset and XBL once my 2 months free runs out, plus xbox 360 and PS3 are coming out within the next 2 years, so if I want to, ill get one of those. Right now, I have to watch what I buy, because I go through money really quickly, mostly concerts, cds (which I'm up to 292 right now) and insurance/gas for my car. I'm also going to sell all of my ICP shit on ebay. T shirts, cds, posters, videos, dvds, all of it. I don’t really like them anymore, and I'm sure I can get a few bucks for them. I sold all my jerseys for about $600 total, so that’s good.

That’s all I really feel like talking about now. Comment.
