Nope. We got spaghetti! and blankets!

I was going through my photo albums and I found a few pictures that meant a lot to me, or reminded me of really good times. If I wasn’t so computer illiterate, I would post them all here with neat links and everything like Kara does, but I'm not that cool. Here’s the link to the photobucket account that I put all the pictures up. Check them out; maybe there are some of you. This picture I posted is one of my favorites I have, and it actually means a lot to me. Colleen and I went up to Boston on November 6th, 2004 and saw Mitch Hedberg and Stephen Lynch, 2 of my favorite comedians. It was one of the best nights ever. I thought I would go when Mitch came around again, and made plans for it. I believe the date was April 20th of this year he was going to perform in Rhode Island at a college. I was excited to go and planned on taking Lauren because she didn’t get to go the time when I saw him. We didn’t end up going. I found out he died on April 1st, April fools day. I received a voicemail from tom telling me that my favorite comedian was dead. I didn’t believe him. I went home, looked online, and was shocked to find out He really did die. His death was due to heart failure, as was reported at the time of this entry. He was such a funny guy, and at age 37, had a bright future ahead of him. In the latest rolling stone magazine, a tribute was done in honor of him. The writer spoke on him being at the brink of mainstream success, but couldn’t break the cult icon barrier he had become. Mitch wasn’t upset by it and he even joked about it.

“The reason why I haven’t become a household name is that most of my fans live in apartments.”

I know this entry is extremely late, but I still need to do something in honor of him. So, here’s to Mitch.
