Princess Yue; A cage of glassdark_puckMarch 30 2010, 22:18:59 UTC
The Northern Water Tribe has been cut off from the rest of the world for fifty years or more. Master Pakku was the last of the Northern Waterborn to travel; after his return, ties with the rest of the world were severed.
Every now and then, hunters will return with some scrap of news, or a storm-tossed merchant vessel will be rescued. Whenever this happens, Princess Yue is nearby, listening with fascination to what goes on beyond the ice city.
She devours books and vids that tell of the rest of the world and dreams of grass and skyscrapers, knowing she'll never be able to see them for herself.
When she gets older, she spends her nights accessing the FireNet and the World Net both, adding to her vast store of knowledge. This is how she discovers the darker side of the world, and begins to understand why her people chose to isolate themselves.
Isolation does not suit the princess, however.
Calling herself Sedna, Yue seeks to do what she can for their Southern sisters, as well as other people being hurt by the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdoms.

I see what you did there with her name. Also, I love what you're doing here. The way you used "cage of glass" and the way that you deal with Yue's isolation and her effort to help any way she can. Lovely job.
