So, a note to the wise: Post- and Transhumanism are not concepts one can casually browse. I did a search and got to wikipedia.. Where I found myself simultaneously trying to read three different articles, and finding myself ready to click more links and add more to the mix.
When I realized I was reading about parahumanity and chimerae when I all I really wanted to do was get a warm-and-fuzzy* on what posthumanism was about, I closed them all out. Maybe another time when I don't have a novel to write.
* warm-and-fuzzy (noun): Army slang for basic understanding/knowledge. "I need to get a warm-and-fuzzy on that topic, then I'll get back to you."
