You can keep an eye on what your politicians are up to. The Washington Post has a congressional votes database, which is kinda cool, but the best part is that you can subscribe to the RSS feed of an individual congressperson's votes. So I'm now subscribed to
rep_e_markey, my 7th district congressman. I am also subscribed to
sen_j_kerry and
sen_ed_kennedy. I'm pretty sure there are LJ syndication feeds for every congressperson, you'll just have to find their RSS feed here and then double-check at the bottom of the LJ syndication page.
In other news, I finally am a paid member of LiveJournal. Russians or no Russians, the last four years of service have been worth $20 to me.
