Today, I’m dressed as Tamaki Suoh from Ouran High School Host Club <3

I made my first sale. Yay! The day is off to a good start ^^ A lady bought a Refraction and an Inu-Yasha bookmark. They seem more popular that the Merlin ones.
There aren’t as many people here this morning. Maybe they didn’t want to get out of bed so early in the morning. Hopefully more people will show up by lunch time.

Did a side trip to Office Works to get a poster of InkTea man printed. Drastic changes needed to be made to ensure today wasn’t the major flop yesterday was. I’d had a copy of InkTea man I’d printed off my home computer in the Bajka Book and people kept asking for it, so I asked myself - if a small copy got so much notice, how much notice would an A1 copy get? It looks freaking awesome by the way! Really stands out on the pinboard behind me. I also dug out the extra copies of Bajka that Alex had given me when she visited. So far I’ve sold 2 for $7 each.
Poshua dropped by and asked us to try and sell some copies of Generation for her. I will pimp them with all my mad-pimping skillz x3
EDIT (4:30pm): Poshua came back to pick up any remaining copies of Generation. Despite our mad pimping, we weren’t able to sell any =(

SO many people are interested in reading the comic. They love the art and they’re fascinated by the story. We REALLY need to get some sample chapters printed up for SMASH! and Manifest. ALEEEEX, don't worry about the pinups - work on the comic pleeeeease? *gets down on my knees and begs* I've got too many current prints to get rid of before I even think of making up more.

I just had a good chat with another comic artist/writer. He recommends using something called “Manga Studio” to put pages together. Apparently it’s all vectorised and will adjust itself and its tones according to whatever size page you want to work with. It also comes with several hundred pre-designed tones and speech bubbles. Sounds awesome <3

Dimi is back. Took my sister for a tour of the stalls and did some general photo pimp-age. Unfortunately I missed the chance to get a shot of Jack Sparrow molesting Pedo Bear. It’s tragic, I know, lol.
A lady wants to commission us for some posters of InkTea Man! Squeee~ <3 She want some pictures for her home, and specifically requested InkTea Man, although she doesn’t know whether she just wants him on his own, or in the poster mock up I did. I’ll email her after the con and send her some samples =)

I keep seeing people walking around with cute animal ear beanies. I caved - with my sister's help, I bought 2 *hangs head in shame* But they’re so cute x3 I have a teddy one to go with my Tamaki costume, and a blue bunny eared one cause it’s long and awesome and the ears double as gloves =P

Just recounting my finances. Man, I’m so broke T^T These conventions have put me $250 in debt (that’s just on my credit card and doesn’t include the $1000 cash I’ve spent of set-up costs, table fees and airfares). I expected some loses, but not that much. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to get it back. If there is a god, please let him make SMASH! and Manifest produce better results.
At this rate, I might not be able to afford to go to Sydney =( Maybe I should take my hats back...
EDIT (5:00pm): Did I mention Ro earned $1000 this weekend? I’m finding myself being proud of and envying her at the same time, lol.

Still didn’t make him buy anything >< I've been approaching people all day, asking anyone who even glances at our table things like: "How are you?"; "How's your day been?"; "Anything here catch your eye?"; "I can offer you this... at this discounted price", "Please take a business card" etc. Doesn't matter how hard I tried, I doubt I could give the stuff away OTL
