Fishies, musings and movies, oh my!
Well, I'm happy to announce that mission "Save George" was a complete success ^^ My new fishy is now happily swimming around his bowl blowing bubbles and making faces <3 I'll post pictures as soon as I finish moving and unpack my digital camera.
I swear George is the best investment I've made in a long time, lol. He's been so good at influencing my late night musings over the past couple of nights that I've written two new poems (granted they're no good but I had fun writing them). If this is the way it's gonna continue, I think I might need to buy more fish XD

I wish, I wish I was a fish
Not just a fish, a fish named Tish
A fish named Tish in a small dish
I'd swim all day, splosh, splish, splosh, splish
Life as a fish would be delish
Oh how I wish I was a fish
Gremlins
In the dark of night, they come
Snapping, snarling jaws, they come
When you're all alone, they come
To catch you while you sleep.
Sharp and pointy claws, they come
Pawing through your draws, they come
Eyeing shiny things, they come
To rob you while you sleep.
Tearing 'round the room, they come
Jumping on the bed, they come
Poking, prodding limbs, they come
To find you're not asleep.
Baring yellow teeth, they run
Past the cat and dog, they run
Under the front door, they run
Before you even blink.
Gone... for now.
On a completely unrelated note - anyone who hasn't gone and seen the Chronicles of Narnia at the movies must do so immediately... like right now! Bestest movie >3
