GOLD PANTS LULLABY
Last night I had a life-changing experience - I saw Leslie and the LYs live at Friley Hall, a dorm at ISU. She is so unbelievably amazing. Before the show I was standing at the merch table and I asked her mom (how awesome is that?) if they had a certain shirt in green. She turned to Leslie, who unbeknownst to me was standing next to me out of character, and asked her. Leslie looked at me like I was her long lost childhood friend, gave me a hug, thanked me for the support and started chatting me up. She is so outgoing and nice and normal, which you would not expect after seeing her as Mother Gem. She is from Ames and lives there, and I totally want to be her friend. VH1 is going to be filming her in Des Moines on Tuesday for the 50 Greatest Web stars, of which she is number 13. The show is at Skate South, and she told me that there will be free roller skating for everyone! I think I'm in love.
