Today was registration and kids' doctor day. Asha went with mom to register this a.m. and got the teacher and all classes she wanted (yay!). Then mom dropped her off, ent to work, and picked us up again at 1:30 to go to register everyone else.
Registration was fine. I didn't register N.T. because upon testing him on what we learned last year (and he has to know for this year) he failed rather miserably so now I am thinking my instinct to keep him home and get him up to my strict standrds is a good one. We'll see how he does the next couple days on our review.
Anyway, after registration we went to doctor, and that is where3 it all fell apart. Our doc is usually very quick, but today it took them more than an hour and a half (for what usually takes a half hour). Mostly, apparently, because the assistant chose to call the vaccination hotline about the varicella vaccine and was on the phone with them for forty minutes as we waited. The problem is, her question is a moot point for us since we aren't getting that vaccination anyway, so her using OUR time to answer question for other patients kind of irritated. I was waiting in the car, since I thought it would be a short visit, but afrter itting in the car for over 1.5 hours I was in a lot of pan.
Then the bank took forever. Then the ice cream place didn't know whether they were coming or going.
In short, a comedy of errors for sbout four hours. Ack.
And it just occurred to me that the rest of the week isn't any better. I have to go out and about EVERY DAY this week for something or other. This is hard on me and exhausting. Made worse by the fact I am not getting *any* rest at night, can't sleep from pain and when I do is not real rest, and can't take anything to help. Don't know if I can take 30 more weeks of this. *sigh*
Redone to-do's, with only immediate things on it:
1) Cal TSD on Wednesday
2) Pay Sears
3) Continue to refresh N.T. on school stuff
4) Fill out remibursement for meds
5) Send N.T. ILP, just in case - just save it
