America's Twig Models
So it must be coming down to some kind of show down time on Top Models, because they have posted the pictures of a bunch of them on Yahoo.
I don't really follow the show. I used to like watching it, but after a while it got very boring. I *am* sorry I missed the season whee the first "Plus-size" girl won ever, though. She was beautiful, had good character, and actually had a BODY - you know, boobs and a bottom that were there naturally without surgery and push up bras and panties. I had hoped it might start a trend, but no such luck.
The girls in the pctures are even more twiglike than ever. : (
You know, I'm sure that Tyra and lots of other agencies in the biz love this show, but I have a better idea for a show.
I'd like to see them take REAL PEOPLE and transform them as they do these aspiring models and then have them do some photo shoots. I think that the biz might be surprised at how much the general public would like to see real people transformed and then real people in advertiswements. I, for one, am the type that runs screaming the other way from products with these toothpicks on them, so I think there may be a market. It is much more believeable that a product is valid if it is a REAL person selling it.
And I don't mean "real" like they're trying to break into show biz or went to a general call or something. I mean like GO AND GET SOME OFF THE STREET IN SOMEPLACE UNEXPECTED. i.e., stay out of Hollyweird and NYC and go to, say, Alaska, or mountainous south, Michigan, Colorado, Illinois...you know someplace we don't hear about in the tabloids.
So, what director is willing to take a chance they can find some normal people, with normal dimensions (no twigs allowed!) and can have their team transform them into bombshells?
If they're looking for wheelchair bound, blind women, I'll volunteer, even. Maybe. Better check with my agent. : D
