As you probably already know, my car was on fire last Saturday......and what you don't know, is that I have been without a car for the past WEEK. Basically, CarMax contacted me, and let me know that they received the car, and that I would not be receiving a rental car until they found out that it was their fault. The day of the fire, I researched my car, and found that the 2004 Dodge Durango had been RECALLED due to "fires in the instrument panel", that is exactly where the fire was, and SOMEONE needs to take care of this matter (namely CarMax or DaimlerChrysler). Also, yesterday I get a RECALL NOTICE in the mail, giving me the information of the instrument panel fires. Coincidentally.....there is NO POSTMARK anywhere, or any kind of date on the notice. NOT TO MENTION that I got another notice the same day....stating that I purchased the car April 21st.....How can the car fire occur.....2 WHOLE DAMN DAYS BEFORE I PURCHASED IT?????? WTF WTF WTF!!!!!! I am so fuckin' pissed at this.......I have been without a car for too long.....and there is no way that they are gonna be able to fix that Durango.........it needs to be junked, and I need another damn car.....it should not be this hard. I got the car from CarMax February 23rd, the fire occured April 29th, I HADN'T EVEN HAD THE CAR FOR 2 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
