That quote comes from the British comedy "Hot Fuzz" that I was finally able to see this weekend due to it being released on DVD. Of course, there are much funnier quotes to choose from... but they're much longer... and some you wouldn't understand unless you're watching it at the time. In my best English accent, it was "bloody brilliant" (funny how everytime I say or think that the image of Ron Weasley pops in my head > < ) and more American comedies should be like it. They could learn a thing or two.
In other news, I finished off the "Magic Knight Rayearth" anime series so I finally know what so many people were talking about years ago. In the end, it was good overall, but I much prefer some of CLAMP's later works. Speaking of which, as I checked online to see how different the manga ending would be from the anime version, I was shocked when I decided to look up to see how many volumes of X/1999 I'd need to complete my set. Turns out, it was never finished! 0_o Yeah, I'm probably the only big fan of X that had no idea of this, but nevertheless I was saddened. So neither the anime nor movie based on the books has an official ending. I hope they decide to go back and finish it someday... there's no point in collecting the set otherwise : (
Other than that, I spent the remainder of my weekend time on errands, watching "Fallen" on ABC family (decent mini-series with a relatively well-researched amount of angel mythos ^^ ), and finally giving up on perfecting a div layout for my stupid myspace account. I'm just going to go for something semi- normal, send out friend invites, and call it a day. If you have an account let me know and I'll add you.
