well, i rented 3 movies today on my return from camp, and here are my reviews.
hellboy- dont waste your time unless your a hardcore fan of the series, the action was dumb and i all around did not like this movie, im sr but it could have been better.
monster- in this heartbraking love story based on actual events, charliza theron plays americas first women serial killer by the name of Aileen Wuornos. Growing up Aileen wanted to become famous, everything about being famous was apealing to her. but as she grew up she thought that you have to get your face out there one way or another. for aileen, it was hooking. at age 13 boys paid to see her boobs, sleep with her, ect. Along the course of her sad life, and being on the verge of suicide (like her father) she met Selby (christina Ricci), a lesbian gurl looking for a life to call her own. when these two meet both there worlds change. Selby leaves wut lil home she has, and a chance to reclaim her fathers love to move in with Aileen. The two fall in love, and Aileen promises to support selby and fufill her dreams... till aileen is raped on the job one night and kills her raper, steals the car, and changes her life style, from being a hooker trying to support her and her lover to being a murdurer supporting her lover. I wont give away the end, but as the ending scene rolled and this love story came to an end a single teared rolled down my face as Aileen quoted lines from the Bible and how though shell never see Selby agian her love endurs forever for her. this is an amazing film, and one of the best ive seen in a while and tells an amazing story that few people would like to hear and come to understand.
butterfly effect- *warning* do not watch the directors cut if u dont want to feal saddened and depressed *end warning*
i dont know how to explain this movie, but it was amazing. its definatly ashton best acting job ever, and i definatly will have this as one of my fav movies. i do recomend it, but it will mess with your mind, lol, no joke.
