PainMan
We all know the world's full of pain. We hear about it every day, whether it's large scale disaster on the news, or something smaller and closer to us affecting our friends and family. Then of course we all have our own personal pain, the kind we keep close to our hearts and let very few people see. But what if someone came along to take away all our pain? Wouldn't that be fantastic?
Well, that's exactly what happens in PainMan, an awesome comic that I just read a free issue of online!
It's avalible from Violent Karma Press and is written by Sam Magid woth wonderful art by Tomo Komaki.
Without giving away too much [hopefully] here are the basics of the story:
PainMan is a crimfighter with the ability to absorb all our pain. And not aonly that, he seems to thrive on it! He also does whatever it takes to go after the people causing the pain and give them a taste of their own medicine.
Doesn't that sound awesome? Based on the subject matterI wouldn't recomend it for really young kids, but if you're an adult who liks dark, complex storytelling and doesn't mind a little violence in their art, check it out.
