Ouch

Yesterday afternoon, I slipped on the stairs in a metro station. Thankfully, I was holding the rail, so I stopped myself from really falling all the way. I was concerned that I might have hurt my left knee, as it felt weird when I stood up, but that pain walked off pretty quickly.

I ended up not working out last night because my going away happy hour from work ran pretty late and I got home near 8 in the evening. This morning when I got up, I noticed some pain in my lower back (on the left side) whenever I would bend down. I'm taking ibuprofen, but I've also avoided the bending down action for the most part today and I don't know if the medication is helping or not. It's not a debilitating pain, but I don't want to take any chances, so I'm skipping my strength workout tonight. I'm disappointed because I've come to really enjoy the weight portion of this program. I think I will try to at least do double the time on the elliptical today, since it's low impact. Here's hoping it doesn't hurt!
*le sigh*

I hope I'm not out of commission for too long. I doubt I'm going to undo major progress or anything, but I'm scheduled to take measurements and progress pictures this weekend. Blargh.
