Chuck/Bryce, Peter/Neal, other pairings: sentence fics

Jun 13, 2011 04:29

photoash and I traded sentence fic prompts and so I collected mine here. But also go read hers here (Chuck, Leverage, WC, WCRPS); they're a great combination of hilarious ones and serious ones: http://photoash.livejournal.com/253266.html

Fandom: Chuck
Prompt: breakfast
Fic: As they lazed on the hood of Chuck's ancient car, Chuck's head resting on Bryce's chest as they watched the sun rise after an all-night Dungeons and Dragons session, Bryce pulled the candy bar into two caramelly hunks, handed one to Chuck, and said, "This totally counts as a nutitious breakfast."

Prompt: Furtive sexytimes
Fic: They sat quietly holding each other on the hood of the car in the empty parking lot, breathing in the cool, blossom-scented morning air, until Bryce slid his hand beneath the waistband of Chuck's jeans and rubbed softly at Chuck's groin above a layer of boxers; a few minutes later, Chuck's loud grunt attracted the stares of some other all-nighter students who were walking back to the dorms; Bryce smirked as he saw the blush paint Chuck's face bright red; it was clumsy of them to get found out, and in another part of his life it would be dangerous to let himself get so lost he didn't notice such obvious footsteps, but the truth was, part of Bryce absolutely loved getting caught.

Prompt: Precious little
Fic (set in the pilot): Bryce knew that he had no time left, that maybe - maybe - he had five minutes left; five precious minutes to finish his mission, safeguard the Intersect, maintain his cover, and do everything he personally wanted to do before he died: help Orion redeem himself and find the courage to go back to his family; help Sarah get a mission where could protect something instead of destroying it, so she could finally sleep at night; tell Chuck everything he's ever wanted to say - I'm sorry and forgive me and how could you ever think our friendship was a lie; and especially, to make sure that there was someone in the world who remembered him and who cared that he was dead, to make sure that neither the Agency nor his only friend could forget his name or all that he did as if it were day old bread.

Prompt: Eyebrows
Fic: It had taken Chuck weeks to build up the courage to ask the question, but Bryce just answered with a raised eyebrow, nothing more, neither yes nor no.

Fandom: White Collar

Prompt: Jumping without a net.
Fic: Right before jumping, he dropped his jacket, secured his gun and badge, and told himself that just thinking this was a good idea proved definitively that he's been spending too much time with Caffrey.

Prompt: Painful goodbye
Fic: It was with a swath of regrets and a tear in the eye that Mozzie said his good bye; he couldn't believe FOX cancelled his favorite show again.

Prompt: Sunbeam
Fic: Neal opened up the curtain and cringed at the brightness, lowering his eyelids to block the sunbeam-sharp light coming through; as he as his eyes adjusted and he began to gaze upward, he knew that all across this hemisphere, people were doing the exact same thing he was: searching the morning sky as if it had answers, as if it knew something that they didn't.

Prompt: Time has run out
Fic: When Alex was out of time, when her charm and her plan had both failed her and it was either the guard at the gate or getting captured, it turned out that she wasn't as nonviolent as she always assumed; she knocked the guard out with a nearby stone jar and stepped over him as she ran away.

Prompt: Sunset
Fic: Peter and Neal watched the sun set over the water slowly, until it was just the faintest line of shimmering mauve beneath the dark sky; they said nothing, both of them knowing that Neal would leave before morning.

Prompt: Gasp
Fic: Mozzie gasped when he saw the painting he was about to pilfer; he didn't care what the gallery plate said, he was positive that the painting in front of him was an original Neal Caffrey.

Prompt: Monkey Madness
Fic: When Peter had said that he owned Neal, Neal had just grinned and thanked him; when Peter pushed his way into every corner of Neal's life that he could, Neal just sighed at having lost the latest round of their game; but the only time Neal ever told Peter straight out that he had better back off, the only time Peter ever saw in him some kind of mad animal territoriality, was when Peter came close to finding out Mozzie's real name.

Prompt: Respect
Fic: The Marshall sneered at Peter and Neal, beginning each passive aggressive remark about why the FBI couldn't be trusted with this assignment with the phrase "With all due respect," until Hughes finally said, "With all due respect, Deputy Marshall, you're full of shit."

Fandom: White Collar RPS
Prompt: lucky
Fic: Tim smirked as he saw Matt shift in his chair, as if merely sitting made him uncomfortable, and realized that Simon was in town visiting; Tim knew that there was always physical evidence when Matty got lucky.

Fandom: Burn Notice

Prompt: some fools never learn
Fic: Sam walked in to Michael tied to the bed with yogurt (and yeah, it was yogurt, Sam noticed with disappointment) dripping all over his chest and face; when Sam asked, Fiona just answered, "Michael tried to hoard his precious, precious yogurt from me -- again."

Fandom: You pick (lol, Matt Bomer character might be involved)

Prompt: Streamers
Fic: More than anything, he loved the sight of his lover's hair after sex, a rare moment of imperfection as stripes of dark hair lay matted in swear across his forehead in a chaos of sated exhaustion, like ink spilled in rivulets across an antique page, or streamers hanging loose and ragged on the night after a party.
