Will (TV show)
So fandom, there's a show on TNT about William Shakespeare and Marlowe is AMAZING on this show and there's canon m/m and also tons of homoerotic subtextual m/m for the characters who are not yet canon bi (like s2 of Will if there is one better have him be more obviously bi). I watched this show because many of you recommended it to me (thanks again for that!)
But I in my silliness assumed that fandom liked this show. I just finally finished S1. And then I go looking for which characters were nommed for Yuletide, and nobody nominated the show. EVERY year people - often multiple people - request historical RPF with Shakespeare/Marlowe, or RPF featuring one of them, and now that there's an actual TV show about it, it's not nominated?? I should not have taken fandom's love of literary slash for granted.
But seriously, how could I have misread fandom so much? I mean, I know the main character's a dick on the show, but still. Never stopped Burn Notice fans. Or you know, most show's fans.
Off to check how much Ao3 fic there is.
