I'm in London for work for about a month (!).
So, 2 questions for my friends list:
1. What do you think I should do and see while here? I've been before (a long time ago) and done most of the big tourist sites in London, as well as in Canterbury, at Stonehenge, and a couple other places, and I'm already planning on going to the big museums like the Tate galleries, the British Museum. I like theatre, bookstores, gardens, restaurants and coffeeshops, art galleries, etc., but I also just like walking around interesting neighborhoods or doing stuff that the locals like to do, or knowing where unusual or fun shops are, etc. I like artsy stuff but I also like nice scenery or chilled out environments just as much too. So basically anything except sports and high fashion, lol - so I'm grateful for suggestions.
I'm in London (and jet lagged) but I'll go to Liverpool for a couple of days next month. Also, I hope to be a tourist in Scotland on some weekend. I'm also happy to take day trips to see parts of the UK that I haven't seen before - it's fun to explore something new.
So, what do you like in or near London?
Where do you like to visit in Scotland (I've been to Edinburgh, Loch Ness, and Isle of Skye, and while I would go back to Edinburgh, I'd be interested in trying new places if anyone has recs).
2. Anyone on my friends list in London want to meet for a drink/coffee/lunch/play/go to a park/whatever? Like I said, I'm happy to do a day trip to visit a local, and I might be spending a day or two in Liverpool, Manchester, Brighton, and Scotland (the part of Scotland I haven't picked yet). If you'd rather private message me, feel free.
