The short version

Got lots of cool stuff to talk about, but no time to do it in, so here's a very shortened version of it all.

1) Took my make-up final for the class I missed while in the hospital. Afterward, while talking with the instructor, he told me about a graduate level class that he only teaches every two years. He's teaching it this spring and is going to talk to the department chairman about a) making it a double listing so I, as an undergrad, can take it or b) getting special permission for me to take it. What a huge compliment! The class sounds so interesting, and it's a combination of three different things I've been studying, human behavior analysis, macro analysis, and multicultural analysis. I really hope that I'll be able to fit it into my schedule for the spring and actually allowed to take the class!

2) I was nominated (and elected...not really by choice!) to be the fundraising chair for the SASW for the next year. I'm kinda nervous cuz I've never been too good at raising money, but I've got lots of good (and hopefully doable) ideas already and I know it will look really good on my resume.

3) I'm mostly in my apartment. I have to call to have cable internet set up - kinda difficult to do an internet class without it, dontcha know - but hopefully it will be done soon. Going back to Tyler on Friday to get my bed (floor is starting to be a bit uncomfortable!), as well as two of my bookcases and rest of my clothes etc. Hopefully things will normalize soon. I feel like I've become so scattered that it's difficult to get homework and assignments completed. Really frustrating.

Anyway, yes, that was the shortened version of things.

More later.
