I'm not missing!
I will just have very sketchy access the next couple weeks until I get into my own place (between Sept 11 and Sept 15). Really sucks because I've got so much printing & schools stuff that I need to get done that can't happen. In the building that houses my social work classes, there are two computers for student use with a printer hooked up to both. Students are to supply their own paper (no problem, bought some at walmart yesterday for that very thing), and one of the student organizations supplies the ink. That's where the problem comes in - it's supplied only whenever they get around to it! Of course, the printer happens to be out of ink now. Argh. I could go to the library to print, but you are only allowed 10 pages a day for free. I can't afford to pay for more, and I've got WAYYY more than 10 pages that I need to print.
I keep remembering stuff that I've left in Tyler. Like a certain required textbook for what will be one of my most difficult classes. Like the ink cartridge for the printer my parents gave me (although there's no need to worry about that right now because I have no way to get online with my laptop to print any of the required stuff).
There's no cable or internet where I am staying, and since I do not know a single soul in this town other than the guy with whom I am staying, if I am not studying, I am bored out of my mind! I can watch movies on my laptop, which I did yesterday evening, but B has a VERY odd assortment of movies, and I left all of mine at home for my parents. *sigh*
I will be back in Tyler Friday for the Warrant show at the Pub (I can't wait!!!), and then will go out to my parents on Saturday. Since Monday is Labor Day we will not be having classes so I will be able to stay up there an extra day.
I'm tired. Today will be a really long day. My first class was at 9:30, break until 2, class 2-3:15, break until 6:45, and then have the first of three face to face meetings for my internet class at 6:45 until 9:15. Then it starts all over again tomorrow morning with my first class at 9.
This is going to be a very long semester. But... all I keep telling myself... this semester included - I ONLY HAVE 9 CLASSES UNTIL SENIOR INTERNSHIP!!! After that.. it's GRADUATION!! *Lord please let me make it through til then!!*
