From Bad to Worse
Today was such an up-and-down day for me. Let's see...
Day begins at 9:20 as normal, goto physics and read for most the class. Pawell is funny as usually, nothing new yet. Come back and have a somewhat sullen lunch with Brad, Beth and Jess. We were real quiet for some reason. Anyway after that I go to my Calc III, and Abbas talks about Mickey Mouse for some reason...he's funny too. Anyway then I goto Discrete Structures. That class sucks balls, big hairy gorilla balls. We take a practice test and I only finish like 7/10 and only get like 5 right...need lots of studying before Wednesday. Then I go to see my CSE prof to clarify some stuff on this project due at midnight...but he isn't in during his office hours!!! GRRRR!!! Ugh, so I head off to my Calc review session. I'm early so I pull out the 3rd book in the new series I'm reading and go at it...but the time for the TA to show comes and goes. Then 15 mins...then 30mins...soon I've waited an hour so Julie and I leave. I've wasted hours of my day waiting for people today with nothing from it. So I come back and have dinner with B-raD. It was like all-chicken...no doubt the 'racial cross-section' of Hubbard enjoyed it. Then after that I talk to a friend about this project to see if he knows what's going on...he says I have to goto the UNIX lab to do what I need to do. It's now passed the time that the regular buses are running so I decide to hoof it. Walk there, do what I need to, and then walk back. Now, as I type this nearly 12 hours after waking, the day was 99% total shit.
But God promised a rainbow at the end of every storm, and there is no lie in that today.
