Hmmm...I know you Diane and I know you would never write a cheating fanfiction..so I'm going to go and say things aren't what they seem...but I still feel kind of uncomfortable and it has nothing to do with your writing style, but rather the nature of the story...but I trust you.

I know some people do feel uncomfortable with this kind of story and I completely understand. Hell, if this was a story I was reading I'd be antsy too and might even wait until the story was completed before reading it so I could check out what happened in the final chapter before committing myself to it.

I did think hard about whether to go ahead and write this and I decided to go with it and even though the ending will explain things, I know it might still be a story people don't like purely because of the method used to tell it.

My explanation has probably made things worse but, like I mentioned on my personal journal in reply to your other comment, I'm willing to send you the complete story so you can see exactly what I did for this challenge.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it and I appreciate you trusting me with this and, I promise, everything will be revealed in the final chapter. I think writing it as a chapter fic instead of a one-shot adds a little extra suspense plus raises questions about what's going on. As I mentioned in my post on my personal journal last night, this wasn't written to be sensationalist or to create a buzz (for want of a better word). It was simply an idea that popped into my head and refused to disappear. I'd hate for people to think I wrote this just to be controversial because that's just not me when it comes to my writing.
