I am as a rule 100% behind anything Hartnell era, jsyk. Have been sort of considering to run some kind of ficathon for that time of the show a bit later this year, but I have no idea how much interest there'd be, so nothing concrete as of yet. :/

Well, I think it depend on how much/well you advertise it. I'd be happy to participate if I have time.

I got some positive response on Tumblr as well, so I definitely think there'd be some interest-- at this point what mostly stands in the way is logistics (i e where to host it, word limits, if it should be open or demand sign-ups...).
