Well, here is Kayla's updated resume (look way down there)...she'll be using it next week -- but, I don't want to jinx her. But, suffice it to say that she has a few auditions she found online and an open casting call (I told her she has to start doing footwork -- Mum needs a life). I'll tell you more next week.
We took a hiatus from this work until the braces came off -- but, now, she is interested in starting work on a career, again. (my head hurts). It's been a while since her last acting work/class. Kerry is in NYC and it's a bit hard (and mucho expensivo)to get to the city, lately. However, if Kay keeps up her end of our many bargains, maybe this summer, with some OT at Temple, Kay will be able to attend a few classes in Philly. Mike Lemon casting has some good ones.
A few things have changed, one thing is her ever increasing love of Anime. She loves everything about it. She knows she is interested in working in this field, and is directing her educational goals in this direction. This has brought a lot into focus.
Those who know us know that Kayla is in college. She is earning her Associate Degree (probably 3-D Animation) and HS Diploma in tandem (then, maybe University of the Arts). A little pressure, yes. But, having been homeschooled for all these years, learning to deal with a little pressure is a good thing, imo.
Molly, sweet Molly, will be getting braces, soon. Hope she isn't jealous about bigger sister (you can see she loves the camera)!
How did I raise such hams?
Molly still loves her fashion design (and, even if I am her mother -- she is really good) and started sewing classes with Jen Larussa -- thanks Jen!
Anyway, Mum's life is calling -- gotta go.
